Collaboration, network building, technology, thrown in with some whimsy and rhythm: these are the protest and political action tools that get me excited these days. And just like I’ve been advocating for journalists and media to expand their ideas on what, exactly, compromises News and Journalism, I’ve been looking more into the social justice and grassroots organizing worlds for collabs and innovative campaigns that combine the best of new media coalition building and tech.
